By submitting a photo image through the Louisiana State University Tiger Card Photo Upload website, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms, please do not proceed with the image submission.

If you choose not to proceed, you will be required to visit the Tiger Card Office at the LSU Student Union to have your photo taken and receive your Tiger Card.

This Photo Upload website is provided by the Tiger Card Office at Louisiana State University and its third party suppliers. We may update these terms and any changes will be effective immediately.

About Tiger Card

The Tiger Card is the official identification card of LSU and is issued to students, staff, faculty, and affiliates. In addition to identification, the Tiger Card can also be used for building access, as an official ID when voting in Louisiana, and TigerCASH! The Tiger Card is managed by the Tiger Card Office within LSU Auxiliary Services. The Tiger Card is the property of Louisiana State University and its use is governed by the University's regulations and policies.

How We Will Use Your Photo Image?

The digital photo image that you submit via this website will be used to produce your Tiger Card. The Tiger Card is proof of identity and provides access to facilities. The Tiger Card can be used for access to various facilities and rooms on campus, including access to the residence halls. This access is based on the approval given to you by that facility and/or department.

Louisiana State University does not guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the Photo Upload System. We cannot guarantee that this system will be compatible with any specific hardware or software. We reserve the right to suspend use or access to this system at any time, for any reason.

Tiger Card Submission Procedures

  • Any person who would like to receive a Tiger Card must have a valid LSU ID number.
  • Any University employee tasked with making Tiger Cards has the right to deny the issuance of a Tiger Card for any reason they deem necessary.
  • A government issued photo ID, such as a license or passport, must be presented when receiving your first Tiger Card. If you attend an orientation session and do not have a government issued ID, you may use a high school ID in addition to your social security card OR your birth certificate.
  • A Tiger Card may only be obtained by the student, staff, or faculty member for whom the Tiger Card is being issued. No exceptions, including written consent, will be accepted.
  • Online students will not be able to create an online account and will need to email the Tiger Card Office at tigercard@lsu.edu to receive further instructions.
